The blue wire on the control module is a seldom used wire that will default all your lights to red when hooked up to the brake lights and the brake is applied on your vehicle. We don't have many customers that use this option, maybe construction workers. All lights should be rear facing when this option is chosen. Most chose to bypass this option.
Each LED strip has a 6ft lead so plan accordingly, (most) cars will require at least 3 extensions to properly mount the control module in the engine bay. Install is as easy as it can be with all twist lock fittings and alignment groves for connection points. Just plug and go!
